CAYLA DONALDSON STATE FARM PRESENTS
LAWCO CHRISTMAS PARADE DEC. 3RD AT 5:00PM

The 62nd annual Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce Christmas Parade is presented this year by Cayla Donaldson, State Farm, and includes every ingredient that makes the event a community favorite.

Beautiful floats and marching bands will parade down North Military Avenue and around the Lawrenceburg Public Square to Highway 43.  Leading the way as the Grand Marshal will be Mr. Sam Kennedy, publisher of the Lawrence County Advocate and recipient of the "Heroes of the Fifty States" award.  See Advocate for complete story.

LawrenceburgNow will stream live with April Judkins and Jeff Hood and will be located with the Judge’s Booth in front of the Historic Crockett Theatre.

The community’s Christmas celebration will actually begin much earlier in the day. Santa will arrive by train at the Pulaski Street crossing at 9:45 a.m., then proceed to Providence Hall and his Lawrenceburg Workshop. He will be there until 2 p.m. and invites all his friends to join him for crafts, photos, story time, reindeer games, and more.

Runners can sign up beginning at 1 p.m. for the 2 p.m. Java Jingle 5K.  Hot drinks will be served on the Square from 1 to 5 p.m., and visitors can vote for their favorite. Both the Java Jingle and Hot Drink Extravaganza benefit the LCHS Class of 2017 Drug-Free after Graduation Party.

Lawrenceburg Mayor Keith Durham will light the city’s Christmas tree on the Square at 4:55 p.m., signaling the official start of the holiday and the Christmas parade.
