CHAMBER AND THE CLASSIC CAR CLUB HOST ANNUAL PARADE

The Chamber of Commerce and the Lawrence County Classic Car Club will host the 11th annual county-long parade of antique cars and trucks on Saturday June 13th.  This year the Cavalcade will begin at 10:00am at the Saint Joseph Civic Center and will travel north on U.S. Highway 43 to Summertown Bluegrass Reunion Park.  Participants may join along the route at Doss Brothers in Lawrenceburg, and Marshall's Grocery in Ethridge.

Models must be 1990 or older. Street and Rat Rods are welcome. Trophies will be given for the oldest car, longest distance driven, roughest thing running, and for the club with the most entries.

Watch and wave along the roadside and then follow to the Summertown Bluegrass Reunion Park for great music and concessions that include hamburgers, hotdogs, ice cream and more.  Admission is free.  Thanks to Terry and Tammy Pierce for hosting the Cavalcade of Antique Car Parade.
