CHRISTMAS IN THE COUNTRY OPENS FOR THE 32ND YEAR

The Chamber of Commerce will kick-off the Christmas shopping season, with the 32nd annual Christmas in the Country November 21, 22 and 23 at Lawrenceburg Rotary Park. 

Shop in-doors at over 90 booths.  Items include antiques, baskets, Christmas breads and candies, Christmas decorations, Christmas toys, handmade crafts, games, doll clothes, dolls, folk art, fried pies, jams, jellies, quilts, stitchery, homemade pies, cakes and lots more. 

Pat's Café and Catering, will have their famous Crawfish Julie with Rice, Potato Cheese Soup, Chicken Soup, Chili, Ham & Turkey, Pimento Cheese and Chicken Salad sandwiches, chips, fried pies and more.


The holidays are a busy time for ole St Nick but he is dropping by Christmas in the Country to visit with the kids Saturday from 10:00 until 2:00 and Sunday from 1:00 until 3:00. Pictures with Santa will be available only by Kimberly's Photos.  Price based on picture package.

Be the first to take advantage of the largest selection Friday night from 6:00 until 9:00.  Saturday, shop from 9:00 until 5:00 and Sunday from 1:00 until 4:00.  Admission Friday night is $5.00 and Saturday and Sunday is $3.00. Children eight and under admitted free.

LUS CELEBRATES 75 YEARS WITH TVA

Chris Templeton, TVA Customer Service Representative presents a 75th Year Partnership plaque to Vic Pusser (right) General Manager for the Lawrenceburg Utility Systems. Customers were treated to grilled hamburgers and hotdogs and presentations from the LUS Safety Team.

Wendel Smith with the UT/TSU Extension Service decorated the Chamber lawn with beautiful pumpkins.
